NEWS: Recording Has Begun! - Drum Tracks

NOVEMBER 10, 2018

I took a trip up to my brother’s recording studio (Derek Moulton, he’s the man when it comes to recording). We spent the evening of Friday, November 9th 2018, setting up mics and doing a mic check on my drumset.

The next day, I woke up and started tracking some drums! I’ve got 8 songs right now so it was a big day. Drums are my first love when it comes to music so it was a blast to sit down and start laying the foundation of these songs I’ve spent so much time writing, especially on an acoustic kit (I recorded some demos on a cheap electric kit – not awesome, yo). Here’s a video of some of that.

It took most of the day, but I got the tracks down to a level I feel really good about. Excited to move on to the next part: recording my new Acoustic/Electric Steel String Ukulele and bass.
