Recording Round #4 – Vocals & a Reboot

Aight, it looks like I skipped April but I didn’t. Count early May as April. I spent 5 hours this time working through 2 big things: First, I pounded out a 3rd song on the ukes and percussion. This was big because I essentially rebooted the whole song in the last couple of months. I didn’t like the pacing of it. So I switched it from a 4/4 feel to a 6/8 feel. I like it MUCH better.

Second, I cranked out a first round of vocals on my first song “A Hearth to Keep Us”. This is difficult for me since I don’t consider myself a skilled singer. But I didn’t hate my voice in the end, so that is a victory for me! I’m hoping to have one song ready to put out this summer. So stay tuned for that, homies.
